TAJA

Telugu Association of Jacksonville Area

Helping spread the light of the Telugu language

Now, your child can master Telugu while living here

TAJA is proud to offer the Telugu Badi program to enable children learn (read and write) the Telugu language and understand the Telugu culture at the right time; when they are young and able to absorb the language. The current year class schedule is as follows:

Venue: Jacksonville Temple on Greenland Road in the Mandarin area of Jacksonville (Map/Directions)
Time (Every Sunday through March): Level 1 - 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm | Levels 2 and 3 - 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm.

In order to enroll, download the enrollment form, fill it in, and email it to Telugubadi during July and August (but before August 31) of the school year. The student should be atleast 5 years old as of 31 August of the school year.

Our curriculum is split into three levels. We recommended that students progress from level one through level three in that sequence to maximise benefits from this course. If a student is already comfortable at a particular level, he/she can progress to the next level. If you are not attending regular sessions, you can take advantage of the online curriculum by following the links below.

Level 1

Based on Telugu Varna Chitramala by Shraddha Publications, Secunderabad.

Level 2

Level 3

If you are not currently enrolled with the program and choose to graduate for any level through TAJA, email Telugubadi for enrollment and testing information.
